About The Author

Ahmed Abaza was born and raised in Egypt, of a very famous, influential and well known family. The Abaza family still plays a key role in the economy and politics of the Middle Eastern Arab Countries.

At age 6, he experienced his first contact with Christianity and the Coptic Church, but through his childhood he was still involved with Islam.  He experienced many profound conversations with the Lord and appearances that encouraged him in the faith and at age 17 he began the challenge of converting to Christianity.

In 1991, Mr. Abaza graduated from Alexandria University with a Bachelor degree. During his last year of college, Ahmed was sent to prison, due to his new religious beliefs and his conversion from Islam to Christianity.  This imprisonment was launched by his immediate family as his desire was a disgrace to the family, and according to the Koran a reason to be killed.  His family tried various methods to change his mind; from bribery to gifts to positions of status and eventually torture, which was their last option.

Mr. Abaza could not, and would not change his mind after the many experiences he faced with the Lord Jesus Christ.  He realized in order to survive he had to try to escape Egypt, the only country he knew, at age 22.  He traveled to many countries to find refuge, but his past always haunted him.  He traveled to Lebanon, Syria, Jordon, Greece, Italy, and now lives in Canada and the United States.

While living in North America, Mr. Abaza published the Arabic release of this book, as well as appeared on various news channels. He hosted live talk shows and pre-recorded spots on satellite stations that air internationally. He wrote newspaper articles for a The New York Times, U.S.A. Today, The Washington Post, The Jewish Express, The Windsor Star, New Jersey publication, Voice of Immigrant and through these newspapers he addressed President George W. Bush in an editorial letter.  Mr. Abaza holds various speaking events to discuss the persecution of Christians, some of the venues have included Madison Avenues Baptist Church, Westminster, Presbyterian Church, Azusa Pacific University, and is currently speaking at seminars and conferences.

Mr. Abaza has been called “The Sword in the Back Of  Islam” by various Middle Eastern newspapers like The Arab World, Hadeth Al Madina, and Elosboa due to his frankness and forthright comments about Islam and their brutality.

Mr. Abaza is bold, fearless, and  comical when it comes to debates on Islam. For the past nine years he has hosted chat sessions online at PalTalk.com to help reveal the truth and to minister to others.  He is in the process of launching a new satellite station called The Truth Broadcast Network (TTBNTV), launching November 2007.Will cover the whole world.  This station is his passion and will focus on religion and persecution with shows, debates, and expert guests all  without censorship.

He has a true passion and feels it is his duty to expose the Middle East’s corrupt prison system in reference to Ex-Muslims being killed and tortured. Many are persecuted because they have chosen to convert out of Islam and are persecuted in general because they are Christians.

Ahmed Abaza’s mission is to reach the Moslem community and minister to them by

bringing out the truth that lies in the Koran in the various hidden passages and to minister to anyone willing to listen.

Excerpt from his book: I Was Blind, But Now I See:

I call on the free pen of every free thinker and every beating heart in the world to look at Egypt and examine what is taking place against human rights.  I ask that they take a conscientious stand with courage and compassion to rescue the blessed people of Egypt from the hands of the Muslim oppressors; examine the situation of those human souls whose human rights are violated and who are treated like animals and insects based on the belief that they should die because they are infidels.

It is imperative to demand the opening of the Egyptian prisons and the police stations to the human rights officials; they may observe the treatment of Christians or those who convert to Christianity.
